The landscape design process begins with an initial meeting with the client at their home. One of our design associates will suggest changes and enhancements to be made to the property. A complete and thorough understanding of the site and its potential is discussed. Some elements discussed may include screening, water features, recreation areas, outdoor entertaining, drainage, lighting and an irrigation system. A brief discussion regarding the client's budget for the project is evaluated. Upon completion of the consultation, we will present to you our design fees, and if agreed upon, the designer will proceed with creating a unique design for the property.

At this point we can begin our design drawings and start to transform your property into a space that can be used and enjoyed for years to come. Our design associate will then meet with you, at our office, to discuss the plants and building materials that will be used in the project. At this meeting, the client and designer will fine tune the design. A cost projection is presented and the design adjusted to meet budget parameters, if necessary.

Once your design is completed and accepted, it's time to move into the installation phase. Mike Hayes and Associates' installation crews are professionals who have the knowledge and expertise to turn your design into reality. Each project is managed by an experienced operations manager to ensure that the completed project is built as designed. There are certain occasions when adjustments need to be made during installation, by the client or designer, if this occurs we will make sure these changes made to the original design are in keeping with the overall feel of the project.
